Working Notes on Noah’s poem:
I tried to find a document that is as far away as possible from a romanticised presentation of nature, so I decided to use an application form for state funded financial support during study. I myself have already oftentimes had the pleasure of reading these documents written in byzantine wording far removed from the real world. Ironically, I felt some similarities in the needlessly strange choice of wording in both the application form and the Wordsworth poem. Additionally, I can not imagine something more distant from any concept of nature than an overly-arbitrary, human-made, bureaucratic financial system. Juxtaposing these two became a fun challenge. The italicised parts of text are the parts I took from the Wordsworth poem. I wanted to make a clear distinction between the texts to present the stitching-together of the original texts. The rest of the structure of the text is, obviously, based on the application form I had used.
